In this fusion between civil rights activists Malcolm X and hip-hop icon Tupac Shakur our artist Showzart freeze frames two generations of political activsm in one.  Malcolm's era of unapologetic civil rights activism with the FOI ultimately leads to his assasination which in turn sets the stage for the more militant Black Panther Party.  Afeni Shakur, mother of Tupac, was a prominent member of the Panther's embedding the spirit of activism and human rights in her son as you can hear through his music.  Bringing this two figures together is nothing less than remarkable!  Black and white on a red backdrop makes the image stand out in any room.
